Who will break this GH brainwashing?

Like most General Hospital Cassadines and all teenagers everywhere, Charlotte Cassadine thinks she’s the smartest person in the room. Nobody can tell her anything. She knows all…and she’s always right. Oh, and that she is also forever the victim, never the villain.

Charlotte Cassadine: Born Innocent

She currently holds Anna (Finola Hughes) accountable for shooting her. and believes that everyone else ought to follow suit. Yes, Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez), who is sweet, naive, innocent, and harmless, was in Anna’s apartment.in the absence of lightrummaging through Anna’s belongings while sporting a dark cape and a flashlight, but what about it?

Yes, this did occur at the time that Anna was being stalked and her house was being set on fire (you can read more about that here). I mean, who could blame Anna for drawing her revolver in these circumstances? As is often the case, the lesson was to fire first, ask questions later. But not in Charlotte’s eyes. Such a horrific atrocity could only be committed by an evil lady who harbored personal hatred for Charlotte. She was in the crosshairs!

Professional Help

Of course we, the viewers, know that Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) brainwashed Charlotte. Papa Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) knows it, too. Alas, even if he were to tell his darling moppet this, she’d never believe it. See being a Cassadine. And a teenager. And a brat.

Maybe her step-grandpa Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) could comp Charlotte with a few therapy sessions. (We know the Cassadines don’t have jobs, which presumes they don’t have medical insurance. And rich people never pay out of pocket for anything.) He knows a bit about brainwashing. But, would Charlotte listen to a peasant so beneath her royal status?

From the Top

Charlotte is far more accomplished than your friendly local shrink. She requires deprogramming at the WSB level. the compassionate Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) needed following their horrific experiences. Those two males, though, needed assistance. Charlotte believes she is not in need of it. With the exception of her bullet wound, which she quickly healed from, everything in her life is going well. Why would she wish to make that different?
