Each week, Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves will weigh in on the latest events in the house. Here, she reacts to Cameron rejoining the game, where it went wrong for Jared, how things are looking for Cirie now without her son, and more.

What did you make of Cameron’s efforts to rebuild relationships in the house with folks like Jag and Matt while he waited to see if he would make it back into the game?

JULIE CHEN MOONVES: Smart. But also pretty confident of him! He’s always one step ahead and covering all his bases. He’s got a good shot at taking this all the way!

Now that he is out of the house for good, how would you assess Jared’s game this season?

Good but yet very young, Jared was. He played a little too fast and hard. He got into difficulties due of his youthful vigor. He had to have more adult patience.

Were you surprised by how emotional Jared was with all the tears as you spoke to him after his eviction?

Yes, and I was moved. I wanted to hear more about what was behind those tears. Regret? Sorrow? Fear for his mom’s safety in the game?

You asked Jared how he thought Cirie would do without him in the house. How do you think she’ll do?

She’ll be just fine. She did Survivor four times and won The Traitors. Now she won’t have the distraction of keeping his game safe. I’m rooting for her!
