General Hospital Spoilers: Jagger Teams Up With Dex To Destroy Sonny — Only Jason Can Save Him

According to General Hospital spoilers, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) just walked into Police Commissioner Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office and told her he has information on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that might land him in a life sentence.

Declaring that their conversation would remain contained in that room, Anna turned him away based on a lack of evidence, leaving Dec disappointed and angry.

So when she circles back around asking for his cooperation with Federal Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) in taking Sonny down, he’ll be all for it. But will he be able to ride this out without caving? And will he be able to combat the alliances Sonny has formed with people over the years who continue to have his back?

Dex Heller Goes His Own Way

Dex isn’t afraid of Sonny anymore, and he’s not bound by any allegiance to him. At first, when Sonny kicked him out of his business and his life, Dex felt rejected.

He was grateful that his love for Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) was enough for Sonny to consider sparing his life. Now, he’s lost Joss anyway because of the corrupt person he allowed Sonny to mold him into.

Dex sees the only path back to Joss being one paved with every intention of taking Sonny down, and he’ll do whatever it takes to earn back her respect and prove he’s a changed man.

Hint Sonny Corinthos’s Time Isn’t Up

In all likelihood, Sonny’s sentencing doesn’t make sense at this time. Although there have been numerous attempts to plan Dex’s downfall in the past, there are rumors that he won’t succeed even with the full support of the PCPD and FBI.

Sonny’s empire will retaliate, and when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) tries to show that he is still someone Sonny can trust with his life, he will have all the tools necessary to defeat him. Ultimately, it seems that he will have to.

Jason Morgan Saves The Day

Even if we don’t yet know what will happen to get Sonny into trouble, we can assume that Dex will help the authorities gather evidence against the notorious mobster.

Even if Brick (Stephen A. Smith), one of Sonny’s supporters, continues to maintain that trusting Dex is a mistake, Sonny will be in dire need of assistance within his collapsing organization.

We can have faith that Jason will intervene and turn the tide in the end, but not before Sonny almost loses everything due to his own conceit and lack of judgment.
