The Big Brother 26 week 10 Power of Veto ceremony has occurred, and the Head of Household (HOH) and Power of Veto winner Makensy Manbeck used it to save Kimo Apaka from the chopping block in order to nominate Leah Peters. Big Brother 26 week 10 HOH Makensy had originally nominated Kimo and Angela Murray for eviction, with the intention of getting Angela out of the house. However, Chelsie Baham was able to convince her that the better move was to save Kimo and nominate Leah.
The Big Brother 26 live feeds have revealed that HOH Makensy Manbeck went through with the plan to evict Leah Peters this week by saving Kimo Apaka with the Power of Veto and naming her as the replacement nominee.
The Big Brother 26 live feeds have revealed that HOH Makensy went through with the plan to evict Leah this week by saving Kimo with the Power of Veto and naming her as the replacement nominee. Chelsie pushed for this move because Makensy told her that Leah had told Rubina Bernabe that she wanted Chelsie out of the house. Makensy kept Angela on the chopping block so that she couldn’t vote for Leah to stay. Leah was completely blindsided and quickly left the living room after the meeting. She tearfully told Angela that she had no idea that Makensy was going to nominate her.
What Makensy’s Blindside Of Leah Means For Big Brother 26
Makensy Could Be In Trouble During The Double Eviction
Even though Makensy might’ve thought that blindsiding Leah was the best move because it’s what her fellow Big Brother 26 houseguests wanted, she might’ve actually hurt her chances of surviving the double eviction. However, of course, Makensy doesn’t know about the double eviction. Chelsie and Cam Sullivan-Brown are more loyal to each other than Makensy, while Kimo and Rubina are now a duo after their trio member T’kor Clottey was evicted. Also, Leah is one of Angela’s biggest allies, so she might not be willing to keep Makensy after this blindside either.
Makensy won’t be eligible to play for HOH during the double eviction as the outgoing HOH, so she’ll be at a disadvantage. However, she’s worked well under pressure before when she was nominated before, saving herself with her America’s Veto upgrade power once and in the BB A.I. Arena twice. Makensy might be able to survive the week, but it will surely be harder for her.
Our Take On Makensy’s Blindside Of Leah
Makensy Made A Huge Mistake
Makensy’s blindside of Leah was a huge mistake. Leah would’ve been a number for her and also a jury vote. By turning on her, she’s putting all of her faith in her fellow remaining houseguests, who’ve proven that they’re more loyal to each other than her. Big Brother is an individual game, but Makensy is doing what the house wants. At this late point in the game, Makensy should’ve done what was best for her own game. She was adamant about evicting Angela earlier in the week, but she allowed herself to be swayed.
The Power of Veto has been used every week in Big Brother 26 so far. It seemed that Makensy wasn’t going to use the Power of Veto and finally send Angela home, but now Angela will live to see another day in the game. Makensy’s blindside of Leah is yet another example of how, in Big Brother, everyone should always “expected the unexpected.”
